Vurium AI
Terms of Use
Effective Date: October 29, 2026 · Last Updated: October 31, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Vurium Inc. ("Vurium," "we," "us") for the Vurium AI app and the service behind it ("Vurium AI"). By using Vurium AI you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use it.
1. Your Account
You sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an email and a password. You must be at least 13 and old enough to agree to these Terms where you live, and old enough there to make purchases (or have a parent's or guardian's permission). You are responsible for what happens on your account; keep your device, your Apple Account or Google Account and your password secure, and use a password you use nowhere else.
2. What Vurium AI Is
Vurium AI answers questions, finds things out on the web, writes text and code, makes images and videos, plans apps, runs tasks on a schedule, and can use a browser and, on Vurium AI Pro or Max, call services with keys you keep in its vault. Its answers come from artificial intelligence models (Anthropic's Claude) and other services. If you allow it, a second model from OpenAI checks the facts in some answers, reviews code Vurium AI writes, answers when Claude is unavailable and runs some of its research agents; a checked answer can still be wrong, and an answer from OpenAI is marked as such.
Answers can be wrong. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or offensive. Check what matters before you rely on it.
Not professional advice. Vurium AI is not a doctor, lawyer, financial adviser or emergency service. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Vurium AI acts as you ask: its browser carries a task through on its own (on our server once you leave the app, for the owner and on Vurium AI Pro or Max) and asks you, with Face ID on your iPhone, before paying (or, if you choose in Settings, before anything that buys, sends or changes something), and a task does what you set it up to do. A purchase you allow is yours, made with the shop on its terms: check the site, the item and the total before you allow it. Vurium AI does not process payments. You are responsible for what you ask it to do and for the actions you approve.
If you connect another assistant to Vurium AI (Settings, Integrations), it asks in your account as you do: its questions count toward your plan, and you are responsible for what it asks. Disconnect it there at any time.
If you connect GitHub (the Vault, or Settings, Integrations), Vurium AI reads the repositories your GitHub account or token can see, when you ask, and makes a change there only when you approve its card. Connect only what you may share this way, and disconnect it there at any time; a token you made on GitHub is yours to delete there too.
3. Acceptable Use
You will not use Vurium AI to:
- break the law, or help anyone else do so;
- create or share content that sexually exploits children, promotes violence or terrorism, or harasses, threatens or defames anyone;
- create malware, attack systems, or get into accounts or data that are not yours;
- deceive people, for example by impersonating someone or making spam or scams;
- get around its plans and limits, share your account, or copy, resell or scrape the service; or
- break Anthropic's Usage Policy, which applies to the models behind its answers.
We may refuse, remove or report content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these Terms. You can report a reply with the flag under it.
4. Your Content
What you send Vurium AI is yours, and, as between you and us, so is what it makes for you, to the extent the law allows; others may get similar answers, which are not yours. You give us the permission we need to store, process and send your content as the Privacy Policy describes, only to provide Vurium AI to you. You are responsible for having the right to what you send, and for how you use what it makes.
5. Free, Vurium AI Pro and Max
What you do in Vurium AI uses credits: each answer, task run, note pass, image, video and voice message uses what its work takes, and the app shows what each used and what is left. Free comes with a number of credits each month. Vurium AI chooses how to answer by itself; you can ask it to think deeper about a message. Vurium AI Pro and Vurium AI Max are auto-renewing subscriptions, monthly or yearly, with many more credits each month, a larger limit on each answer, stronger models (Pro's when you ask it to think deeper or about code, Max's from the start), research agents, video, the vault and more tasks (Max includes everything in Pro), as the app shows before you buy.
- A month's credits are for that month: what is left does not carry over. A subscription's month runs from the day it renews. At most a share of them can be used in one day, and each answer has a limit, as the app shows.
- When the credits run out, short Quick answers keep working, a number each day, until they come back.
- Credit packs are one-time purchases that add credits. They never expire, are used after the month's credits, stay with your account, have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged. Refunds are Apple's; a refunded pack's credits are taken back, even below zero. Deleting your account deletes them.
- Credits are there for fair use, and the numbers may change; we tell you in the app before a change that reduces what you paid for.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You manage or cancel it in the app (Manage Subscription) or in your device's Settings, under your Apple Account, Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan lasts until the end of the period you paid for. Moving from Pro to Max starts Max at once; from Max to Pro, at the next renewal.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription.
6. Changes and Ending
We may change, add or remove features. You may stop using Vurium AI and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms or if we must by law; where we close it without cause, we will tell you ahead of time where we can.
7. Disclaimers
VURIUM AI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT IT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR THAT ITS ANSWERS WILL BE CORRECT.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, VURIUM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF VURIUM AI, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID FOR VURIUM AI IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US$50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer where you live.
9. Indemnity
You will defend and hold Vurium harmless from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of Vurium AI in breach of these Terms, or your breach of anyone's rights, except to the extent the law does not allow this.
10. Disputes
Informal resolution: before any formal proceeding, contact us at support@vurium.com and try to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days.
Arbitration: if that fails, any dispute arising from these Terms or Vurium AI is resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its rules, in Chicago, Illinois, or by video. You and Vurium waive class actions and jury trials. Either side may bring an individual claim in small claims court instead. Residents of the EEA and the UK may bring claims before their local courts and are not bound by this section.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Where you live, mandatory consumer protection laws also apply.
12. Changes to These Terms
If we change these Terms, we update the date above, and tell you in the app before a change that matters takes effect. Using Vurium AI after it takes effect means you accept it.
13. Third-Party Services
Vurium AI opens websites and uses services that are not ours. We do not control them and are not responsible for them; their own terms apply when you use them.
14. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Vurium AI. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them with our business. The sections that by their nature should survive the end of these Terms do.
15. App Store Terms
If you got Vurium AI from Apple's App Store:
- These Terms are between you and Vurium, not Apple. Vurium, not Apple, is solely responsible for Vurium AI and its content.
- You may use Vurium AI on Apple-branded products you own or control, as the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions allow; your license is non-transferable.
- Vurium alone is responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide any.
- If Vurium AI fails to conform to any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund its purchase price, if any; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses from a failure to conform to a warranty are Vurium's responsibility.
- Vurium, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to Vurium AI or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- If a third party claims that Vurium AI or your possession and use of it infringes their intellectual property, Vurium, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by it as "terrorist supporting," and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with the terms of third parties that apply when you use Vurium AI, such as your wireless data service agreement.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and once you accept them Apple may enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
